Callaghan Campus

The original campus for the University of Newcastle, Callaghan is a beautiful mix of award-winning, architecturally designed buildings sitting across 140 hectares in a natural setting. The relaxed campus environment allows you to study free from distraction.

Newcastle City Campus

The University of Newcastle plays an important part in the renewed sense of vibrancy in the Newcastle CBD and it’s Newcastle City campus is very much at the centre of the city's burgeoning arts scene.

NUspace harnesses the latest in technology and innovation in teaching and learning to deliver a world-class student experience by engaging students in new and exciting ways. At Honeysuckle, Q Building provides state-of-the-art facilities for the School of Creative Industries (SOCI) and the Integrated Innovation Network (I2N) Hub and strengthens the University’s presence in the Newcastle CBD.

The University’s Conservatorium of Music (part of the School of Creative Industries) is located in the Newcastle City campus. Its premier Concert Hall is a much-loved performance venue for local, interstate and international artists.

Also at the city campus are the Newcastle Legal Centre and Newcastle Graduate School of Business which are located in NUspace. The University’s student art gallery, the Watt Space Gallery, is located in the recently refurbished Northumberland House, directly across the road from University House.

Ourimbah Campus

Ourimbah campus is proud to celebrate over 30 years of world-class teaching, learning and research. During this time, a strong community of career-ready students has flourished, with the campus shaping graduates into key members of the local area - and the world.

Situated just two minutes from the M1 Pacific Motorway, Ourimbah campus is conveniently located and provides a range of flexible courses to suit a busy, modern lifestyle.

Gosford Campus

The University of Newcastle’s Central Coast Clinical School is a nation-leading health, medicine and wellbeing teaching and education facility, operating alongside the Central Coast Research Institute.

Launched in 2021, these facilities focus on integrated healthcare, medical education, research and innovation in addressing the health needs of the local population.

The University's long-standing reputation for excellence in clinical healthcare education is further strengthened by the School’s location within the Gosford Hospital’s Health and Wellbeing Precinct.

The Clinical School supports the University’s links with the local health sector through a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach. In partnership with the Central Coast Local Health District, the Clinical School graduates medical, nursing and allied health practitioners who have trained in real hospital settings, alongside leading clinical practitioners and medical experts. Situated alongside the Central Coast Research Institute in Integrated care (a joint University of Newcastle and Central Coast Local Health District facility), the school is well situated to take advantage of the leading research experts to embed research and research innovation into the student experience.

Clinical School spaces incorporate state-of-the-art experiential learning facilities, wet and dry labs, practice consult rooms, tutorial rooms and individual and group study spaces. Students studying at the Clinical School have access to the wide range of services and support provided by the University. This includes on-campus student information and advice, dedicated Indigenous support centre, library, individual and collaborative study spaces, recreational spaces and activities, student kitchen, parenting and prayer rooms and access to food outlets.

Port Macquarie

The University of Newcastle is changing it’s offerings at the Port Macquarie campus to focus on postgraduate and research delivery, working collaboratively with the Mid North Coast Local Health District and regional stakeholders.

Sydney campus

The University of Newcastle Sydney Campus is located in purpose-built premises on Elizabeth Street. This easily accessible, central location in the heart of the Sydney CBD provides world-class facilities and services that support innovation in learning and a next generation experience for students and staff.

Sydney Campus is a rapidly growing educational centre of excellence for both international and domestic students, offering a range of flexible study options, from Undergraduate to Postgraduate programs as well as ELICOS English Language Courses, all within a friendly, supportive environment.
