Campuses

UWA’s main campus is home to 25,000 students, with more than 4,000 international students hailing from 100 countries. They also have an Albany campus in the heart of the South West (a five-hour drive from Perth), and UWA Health Campus at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, along with additional facilities in Claremont and Nedlands.

UWA Perth

There’s much more to UWA’s campus than iconic Winthrop Tower greeting you from Stirling Highway. UWA Perth provides a mix of high-tech facilities, studios, labs, tutorial spaces, lecture and performance theatres, in addition to uni essentials like libraries, cafés, shops, health services, sporting venues and more. With a lively cultural scene, including a museum, gallery and seasonal open-air theatre, UWA is like its own vibrant city.

Set against a backdrop of lush gardens, our campus celebrates heritage-listed buildings alongside striking new facilities. The beloved sandstone pillars and arches that adorn our grounds also attract visitors year-round. From campus, it’s an easy walk, cycle or drive to significant, treasured landmarks such as Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach, Fremantle, and more.

UWA Health Campus

Located on the grounds on the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, this training site includes two major public hospitals and is home to internationally renowned organisations. UWA academics and students feature throughout these organisations, where they engage in world-leading research and clinical teaching.

UWA Albany

Sitting along the town’s café strip just a five-hour drive from Perth is UWA’s southwest campus, UWA Albany. Studying in Albany can be an excellent transition year for country school leavers who want to start their studies without the stress and expense of moving to the city.
