

Each level is studied over two 5 week modules. The total study required for each level is 10 weeks. Students can expect to study 20 – 25 hours per week in the classroom, plus self-directed study as required. Students can expect their IELTS to improve 0.5 for each 10 week block of successful study. Assessment is based on coursework, exams and minimum attendance requirements.

A high level of academic support prepares the Foundation Studies students for direct entry into their program at The University of Adelaide, or the University of South Australia. Diploma students will experience the same small class sizes, with teachers who are specialists in their field. Upon completion, Diploma students are generally fast tracked into the second year at university.

Eynesbury has our an exclusive student accommodation for U18 students, called Homeaway. There are two residences located between 1.5 and 3km from the city campus. Eynesbury takes extra care of the younger students, including welfare support and monitoring. Regardless of which Homeaway residence students live in, the chef cooks delicious meals for all students, and all rooms are fully furnished with an air conditioner and access to a fridge.
Eynesbury is located in the city centre of Adelaide, near the Chinatown and Central Market precinct. It’s a short walk, or a free tram ride, to both The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia city based campuses. Eynesbury modern, purpose built Coglin Street campus is home to English language programs (ELICOS), Diploma and Foundation Studies programs.
Eynesbury have regular intakes throughout the year which lead into both the February and July university semesters. The Foundation Studies Programs (FSP) start in January, April and October; the unique April intake allows FSP students to complete their program in time to commence university the following February. Eynesbury Diploma programs run on a trimester basis, with classes commencing in February, June and October.
