Discover English was formed in Melbourne in February 2010 with the objective of being one of Australia’s premier English language colleges.
In October 2012 Discover English was acquired by Academies Australasia and is now part of an education group with over 100 years’ experience in education.The college was shortlisted as a finalist in English Language Training, Student Support and Student Experience in the 2013 Victorian International Education Awards. The judging panel highly commended Discover English for student support – especially for its strong engagement with international students in an innovative program. The VIEA are designed to promote and reward outstanding achievement and excellence among students and education providers in Victoria.
Moreover, Discover English was recognised as Best New Examination Centre from Cambridge Assessment English in 2017, and was a finalist at the Victorian International Education Awards 2018 in the Excellence in International Student Experience Category.
All courses at Discover English are approved by NEAS and ASQA, and the college is a member college of English Australia.
