The current location for a visa 500 application refers to the physical place where the applicant is at the time they submit their application. This is important because the conditions and eligibility requirements for a Student Visa (Subclass 500) can vary depending on whether the applicant is inside or outside Australia when they apply.
The legal status of an applicant in their current location when applying for a Student Visa (Subclass 500) depends on various factors, including their current visa status, the country they are in, and whether they are applying from inside or outside Australia.

The primary applicant:

The primary applicant in a visa application is the main individual who seeks to obtain the visa and who meets the eligibility criteria for that particular visa subclass. This person is responsible for submitting the application and providing all necessary documentation, such as proof of identity, financial capacity, health insurance, and, in the case of student visas, a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). The primary applicant may include eligible dependents, like a spouse or children, in their application, making them secondary applicants assessed based on the primary applicant’s eligibility. It is crucial for the primary applicant to ensure the accuracy of all provided information and to comply with visa conditions once granted.
