Working and skilled visas

As of February 27, 2025, the following Australian working and skilled visas from your list are open for application:

• Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482): This temporary visa allows employers to sponsor skilled workers for positions they cannot fill locally.

• Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) visa (subclass 400): This visa permits short-term, highly specialized work in Australia.

• Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485): This visa is for recent graduates from Australian institutions, allowing them to live, study, and work temporarily in Australia.

• Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408): This visa allows individuals to participate in specific short-term activities, including cultural or social events.

• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491): This visa enables skilled workers nominated by a state or territory government to live and work in regional Australia.

• Skilled Regional visa (subclass 887): This is a permanent visa for individuals who have lived and worked in specified regional areas of Australia on a previous, eligible visa.

• Skilled-Recognised Graduate visa (subclass 476): This visa allows recent engineering graduates to gain up to 18 months of skilled work experience in Australia.

• Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190): This permanent visa is for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government.

• Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189): This permanent visa is for skilled workers not sponsored by an employer, state, or territory.

• Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494): This visa allows regional employers to address labor shortages by sponsoring skilled workers.

• Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191): This visa provides permanent residency to holders of eligible provisional visas who have lived and worked in regional Australia.

• Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186): This permanent visa allows Australian employers to nominate skilled workers for positions that cannot be filled locally.

• Global Talent visa (subclass 858): This visa is for individuals with an internationally recognized record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in a profession, sport, the arts, academia, or research.

• Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188): This visa allows individuals to own and manage a business in Australia, conduct business and investment activity, or undertake an entrepreneurial activity.

• Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888): This visa is for holders of the provisional subclass 188 visa who wish to continue their business and investment activities in Australia permanently.
