Aquinas College suits school-age learners who want a structured Catholic education in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. The college is in Ringwood, a residential part of the city with rail access, shopping around Eastland and the Dandenong Ranges within easy reach. Day to day, this is a suburban school setting rather than a central-city campus, so it will appeal more to families seeking a local community feel than to those expecting university-style city life.
As a Catholic co-educational secondary college, Aquinas places faith, learning and service alongside academic study. Its setting gives students access to Melbourne while keeping school life anchored in the east, where commuting is commonly built around trains, buses and family travel. International enrolment is likely to suit younger students who are comfortable joining an established school community and following its pastoral and religious life. It may be less suitable for independent adult learners or applicants looking for a specialist tertiary institution.
