We Offer Course and Visa Application Assistance from Primary School to PhD
A tram ride between inner-north neighbourhoods, a design studio in Collingwood or a class near the shops in Preston can be part of daily study at Melbourne Polytechnic. Its Victorian sites stretch from Prahran south of the river to Epping and Greensborough in Melbourne’s north, so the experience depends on the course location rather than a single enclosed campus. This suits people who want city life without being tied to one university precinct; it may be less appealing to those looking for a residential campus community.
Melbourne Polytechnic is a government vocational and higher education provider, with study running from certificates and diplomas through to degrees and postgraduate qualifications. Creative arts, building, business, education and information technology are prominent areas, alongside a practical focus that reflects its TAFE roots. Some learning takes place in specialist settings, including Lort Smith Animal Hospital and Northern Lodge at Eden Park. It tends to suit learners who want to build occupational skills alongside formal qualifications, including those planning to move from vocational study into higher education.
