

TasTAFE is a Tasmanian tertiary VET provider run by the Tasmanian State Government. The main campuses are located in Hobart, Warrane, Claremont, Glenorchy, Launceston, Alanvale, Devonport and Burnie. It’s the largest public provider of vocational education and training in Tasmania, and is governed by an independent Statutory Board consisting of up to seven members appointed by the Minister for Education and Training.
TasTAFE’s purpose is to lead the development of Tasmania’s skilled workforce. Each year they have around 20,000 enrolments. They offer more than 200 nationally accredited and industry-endorsed qualifications ranging from Certificate I to Advanced Diploma level, as well as short courses and skill sets across more than 30 industry areas.
TasTAFE has a modern network of campuses and contemporary training facilities, and experienced teachers with a range of flexible study options and support services.

Courses
TasTAFE have over 200 courses on offer and provide training on campus, in the workplace, in the community and online.
Some courses may require up to three years of study, others are for 6 months from Certificate I to Advanced Diplomas.
