About North Metropolitan TAFE (TAFE WA)
North Metropolitan TAFE teaches across metropolitan Perth and is part of TAFE Western Australia, the state government vocational education and training system. Its qualifications can support progression from entry-level and certificate study to diplomas, advanced diplomas and, in some fields, university pathways.
The institute is a large public vocational provider with training areas that include trades, engineering, information technology, creative industries, health, community services, business, hospitality and tourism. Delivery is organised through specialist campuses and training facilities, with practical learning designed around the equipment, settings and standards used in particular occupations.
